Under a highly innovative pitch, ICLaVE|12 seeks to extend conventional conference presentation formats by soliciting submissions for dedicated, individual multimedia presentations. (Deadline: 1 November 2023)
Multimedia presentations are conceptualized as hands-on showcases for projects such as digital linguistic tools, databases, software, or interactive (public) engagement activities. Proposals will be reviewed by the organizing committee. Presentations will take place during the same dedicated session as posters and concurring with an evening reception in the University of Vienna’s Arcaded Courtyard. A large flat-screen, power outlets, as well as a side-table for materials will be provided for presentation.
We hope for innovative presentations, especially on tools and techniques of digital lingusitics, including computer supported survey methods, data preparation as well as data analyses.
Abstracts for multimedia presentations should not exceed 500 words, excluding title and references. Abstracts should include detailed information on the presentation’s set-up and procedure.
