Vienna

Outside of ICLaVE|12, Vienna has countless additional attractions on offer. Many of them are located within walking distance of our conference venue, the Main Building of the University of Vienna, or can easily can be reached by public transport. However, even just strolling through Vienna without entering any of the various sights is worthwhile, as you will pass through a cityscape abundant with historical buildings.

In the centre of Vienna, in the first district, you will find, for example, St. Stephen's Cathedral, as well as the Hofburg, featuring the Spanish Riding School, the Sisi Museum, the Heldenplatz, and the Austrian National Library.

Further highlights are the Schönbrunn Palace, Belvedere Palace, the Giant Ferries Wheel in the Prater fair and grounds, the Hunderwasser House Vienna, and St. Charles' Church.
